حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ قَالَتْ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ: إِنَّهُ عَمَلٌ غَيْرُ صَالِحٍ، وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقْرَأُ: قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللهِ إِنَّ اللهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا وَلَا يُبَالِي إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recite: “Indeed, it is a deed that is not righteous” and I heard him recite: “Say: O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins, and He does not care. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.”
