machine translationʿAṭāʾ b. Abī Rabāḥ narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Al-Ḥajjāj b. Arṭāh narrated it from ʿAṭāʾ, from Ibn ʿAbbās, from Fāṭimah bt. Qays. Sahl b. Yūsuf and ʿAbd al-Wāḥid b. Ziyād transmitted it from him. There is disagreement about ʿAbd al-Wāḥid: Muʿallā b. Asad said, from ʿAbd al-Wāḥid, from Ḥajjāj. It was also said, from Ḥarmī b. Jaʿfar, from ʿAbd al-Wāḥid, from Layth, from ʿAṭāʾ, from Ibn ʿAbbās, from Fāṭimah bt. Qays. The preserved (maḥfūẓ) version is the one from Ḥajjāj. ʿAmr b. Dīnār narrated it from ʿAṭāʾ, from Fāṭimah bt. Qays, and did not mention Ibn ʿAbbās in it, and this is closer to being correct.
