حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَتْ
كَانَ - تَعْنِي - رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَخَذَ عَلَيْنَا فِي الْبَيْعَةِ أَنْ لَا نَنُوحَ، فَمَا وَفَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنَّا غَيْرُ خَمْسٍ: أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ، وَامْرَأَةُ مُعَاذٍ، ابْنَةُ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ، وَأُمُّ الْعَلَاءِ، وَامْرَأَةٌ أُخْرَى

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took a pledge from us at the allegiance that we would not wail. None of our women fulfilled it except five: Umm Sulaym, the wife of Mu'adh, the daughter of Abu Sabrah, Umm al-'Ala', and another woman.
