✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ prayed one day, then gave the greeting and left while one rakʿa of the prayer remained. A man caught up with him and said, “You forgot one rakʿa of the prayer.” So he returned, entered the mosque, ordered Bilal to announce the iqama for the prayer, and prayed with the people one rakʿa. I informed the people about that, and they said to me, “Do you know the man?” I said, “No, unless I see him.” Then he passed by me, and I said, “He is this one.” They said, “Talha b. ʿUbayd Allah ؓ.”
