حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْلَى الطَّائِفِيَّ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مِقْسَمٍعَنْ مَوْلَاتِهِ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ كَرْدَمٍ قَالَتْ
كُنْتُ رِدْفَ أَبِي فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَسْأَلُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ أَنْ أَنْحَرَ بِبُوَانَةَ فَقَالَ: أَبِهَا وَثَنٌ ؟ أَمْ طَاغِيَةٌ ؟ فَقَالَ: لَا. قَالَ: أَوْفِ بِنَذْرِكَ

✧ I was riding behind my father, and I heard him asking the Prophet ﷺ, saying: O Messenger of God, I have vowed to slaughter at Buwanah. He said: Is there an idol there, or a false god? He said: No. He said: Fulfill your vow.
