حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حَبِيبٌ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ عَنْ لَيْلَى عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَقَرَّبَتْ إِلَيْهِ طَعَامًا، قَالَ: ادْنِي، فَكُلِي. قَالَتْ: إِنِّي صَائِمَةٌ. قَالَ: الصَّائِمُ إِذَا أُكِلَ عِنْدَهُ صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered upon her and she brought food near to him. He said: Come close and eat. She said: I am fasting. He said: When food is eaten in the presence of a fasting person, the angels pray for him.
