✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered upon al-Abbas while he was complaining of pain, and he wished for death. He said: O Abbas, O uncle of the Messenger of Allah, do not wish for death. If you are a doer of good, you will increase in good upon your good—that is better for you. And if you are a wrongdoer, then if you are given respite you may seek pardon—that is better for you. So do not wish for death.
