حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ فِي كِتَابٍ لِعَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ مَعَ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ

فَسَأَلْتُ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَكُلَّ سَاعَةٍ يَمْسَحُ الْإِنْسَانُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ، وَلَا يَنْزِعُهُمَا ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ

Translation

✧ I asked Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, about wiping over leather socks. She said: "I said: 'O Messenger of God, may a person wipe over his leather socks at all times and not remove them?' He said: 'Yes.'"
