✧ A woman whose husband died, and they feared for her eye, so they came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked his permission for kohl. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: One of you used to remain in her house in her worst garments—or in the worst of her garments in her house—for a full year; then, when a dog passed by, she would throw a dung pellet and come out. So is it not just four months and ten?
