✧ I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ under the blanket when I began menstruating, so I slipped out from under the blanket. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: ‘Have you started your period?’ I said: ‘Yes.’ So I put on my menstrual garments and entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with him under the blanket. She said: I used to bathe with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from a single vessel. She said: And he used to kiss while fasting.

machine translationThe hadith of Yaḥyā b. Abī Kathīr is more likely correct than the hadith of ʿUqayl. My father said: "al-Zuhrī was too precise for something like this to escape him, but I fear that ʿUqayl did not transmit it from him accurately."
