حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِقَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ إِنَّهَا

كَانَتْ تُرَجِّلُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهِيَ طَامِثٌ، وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَاكِفٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَيَتَّكِئُ إِلَى أُسْكُفَّةِ بَابِ عَائِشَةَ فَتَغْسِلُ رَأْسَهُ وَهِيَ فِي حُجْرَتِهَا

Translation

✧ She used to comb the Messenger of God's ﷺ hair while she was menstruating, and the Messenger of God ﷺ was in i'tikaf in the mosque, leaning toward the threshold of Aishah's door, and she would wash his head while she was in her room.
