✧ The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah ﷻ said, 'Whoever humbles himself to show loyalty to a close friend of Mine, I consider him as being ready to fight for My cause. My servant does not draw nearer to Me with anything more beloved to Me than the obligatory acts of worship, and he continues to draw nearer to Me with voluntary acts of worship until I love him. When I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his leg with which he walks. If he asks of Me, I would surely give him, and if he seeks My protection, I would surely protect him. I do not hesitate about anything I do more than I hesitate about taking the soul of a believer because he dislikes death, and I dislike displeasing him.' Abul-Mundhir said, 'Urwa narrated to me that 'Aisha said, and Abul-Mundhir also said, 'It distresses him.'"
