✧ I asked the Messenger of God ﷺ about the plague, and the Messenger of God ﷺ informed me that it was a punishment which God sends upon whom He wills, but He made it a mercy for the believers. There is no man who, when the plague occurs, remains in his house patiently and seeking reward, knowing that nothing will afflict him except what God has decreed for him, but that he will have the like of the reward of a martyr.
