حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ بَكْرِ بْنِ خُنَيْسٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُؤْتَى بِالصِّبْيَانِ فَيُحَنِّكُهُمْ وَيُبَرِّكُ عَلَيْهِمْ، فَبَالَ فِي حِجْرِهِ صَبِيٌّ، فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ، فَأَتْبَعَ الْبَوْلَ الْمَاءَ.

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to have babies brought to him, and he would chew dates for them and bless them. A baby urinated in his lap, so he called for water and poured water over the urine.
