حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ الْإِيَامِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَىعَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ

صَلَاةُ السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَانِ، وَصَلَاةُ الْأَضْحَى رَكْعَتَانِ، وَصَلَاةُ الْفِطْرِ رَكْعَتَانِ، وَصَلَاةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ، تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ.

Translation

✧ The prayer of travel is two rak'ahs, the prayer of al-Adha is two rak'ahs, the prayer of al-Fitr is two rak'ahs, and the prayer of Jumu'ah is two rak'ahs: complete, not shortened, according to the words of Muhammad ﷺ.
