حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ: وَأَنْذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الأَقْرَبِينَ قَامَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ مُحَمَّدٍ، يَا صَفِيَّةُ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، لَا أَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ مِنَ اللهِ شَيْئًا، سَلُونِي مِنْ مَالِي مَا شِئْتُمْ.

✧ When it was revealed: 'And warn your nearest kindred,' the Prophet ﷺ stood and said, "O Fatimah bt. Muhammad, O Safiyyah bt. ʿAbd al-Muttalib, O Banu ʿAbd al-Muttalib, I possess nothing for you from God. Ask me of my wealth whatever you wish."
