حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَ
قُلْتُ: يَا أُمَّهْ، كَيْفَ كَانَتْ صَلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ ؟ قَالَتْ: كَانَ يُصَلِّي ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً، تِسْعًا قَائِمًا، وَثِنْتَيْنِ جَالِسًا، وَثِنْتَيْنِ بَعْدَ النِّدَاءَيْنِ، يَعْنِي بَيْنَ أَذَانِ الْفَجْرِ وَبَيْنَ الْإِقَامَةِ.

✧ I said, “O mother, how was the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ after the later ‘isha’?” She said, “He would pray thirteen rak‘ahs: nine standing, two sitting, and two after the two calls—that is, between the dawn adhan and the iqamah.”
