✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived after four days of Dhu al-Hijjah had passed, and he entered upon me while he was angry. I said, “Who has angered you, O Messenger of Allah? May Allah admit him to the Fire.” He said, “Did you not realize that I commanded the people to do something, and I saw them hesitating?” Al-Hakam said: It was as if they, I think, “If I had known beforehand what I came to know afterward, I would not have brought the sacrificial animal with me, but would have bought it later, and then I would have exited ihram as they did.”
