حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَبَهْزٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ يُحَدِّثُ وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنِ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا، وَعِنْدَهَا رَجُلٌ، فَكَأَنَّهُ غَضِبَ، فَقَالَتْ: إِنَّهُ أَخِي، قَالَ: انْظُرْنَ مَا إِخْوَانُكُنَّ، فَإِنَّمَا الرَّضَاعَةُ مِنَ الْمَجَاعَةِ.

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon her while a man was with her, and he seemed to become angry. She said, “He is my brother.” He said, “Consider who your brothers are, for suckling is only from hunger.”
