حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ عَنِ النَّخَعِيِّ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَبْعَثُ بِالْهَدْيِ فَنَفْتِلُ لَهَا قَلَائِدَهَا، ثُمَّ لَا يُمْسِكُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ مِمَّا يُمْسِكُ عَنْهُ الْمُحْرِمُ.

Translation

  2. Saʿīd
  3. Abū Maʿshar
  4. al-Nakhaʿī
  5. al-Aswad b. Yazīd
  6. ʿĀʾishah

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to send sacrificial animals, and we would twist their garlands for them; then he would not abstain from anything that the pilgrim in iḥrām abstains from.
