حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ بُدَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَفْتَتِحُ صَلَاتَهُ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ، وَيَفْتَتِحُ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِـ الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ وَيَخْتِمُهَا بِالتَّسْلِيمِ.

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to open his prayer with the takbīr, and open the recitation with “Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds,” and close it with the taslīm.
