✧ We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in three ways: some of us entered ihram for Hajj and Umrah together, some entered ihram for Hajj alone, and some entered ihram for Umrah. Whoever entered ihram for Hajj and Umrah together did not exit ihram from anything [that was forbidden to him] until he completed the rites of Hajj. Whoever entered ihram for Hajj alone did not exit ihram from anything that Allah, Mighty and Majestic, had forbidden him until he completed his Hajj. Whoever entered ihram for Umrah, then circumambulated the House, performed sa'i between Safa and Marwah, and shortened his hair, exited ihram from what had been forbidden to him until he started Hajj.
