حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْأَقْمَرِ
عَنْ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ ذَهَبْتُ أَحْكِي امْرَأَةً أَوْ رَجُلًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنِّي حَكَيْتُ أَحَدًا وَأَنَّ لِي كَذَا وَكَذَا أَعْظَمَ ذَلِكَ

✧ From Abu Hudhayfah, a man among the companions of Abdullah, from Aishah, she said: I went to imitate a woman—or a man—in the presence of the Messenger of God ﷺ. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: I would not like to have imitated anyone, even if I had such and such—making that seem great.
