حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
الْأَيِّمُ أَمْلَكُ بِأَمْرِهَا مِنْ وَلِيِّهَا، وَالْبِكْرُ تُسْتَأْمَرُ فِي نَفْسِهَا، وَصُمَاتُهَا إِقْرَارُهَا
Translation

✧ The previously married woman has more right to her affair than her guardian, and the virgin is to be asked concerning herself, and her silence is her consent.
