حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
لَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ سَعْدٌ وَأُتِيَ بِجِنَازَتِهِ أَمَرَتْ بِهِ عَائِشَةُ: أَنْ يُمَرَّ بِهِ عَلَيْهَا, فَشُقَّ بِهِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَدَعَتْ لَهُ، فَأُنْكِرَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهَا، فَقَالَتْ: مَا أَسْرَعَ النَّاسَ إِلَى الْقَوْلِ, مَا صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى ابْنِ بَيْضَاءَ إِلَّا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ

✧ When Sa'd died and his funeral was brought, Aishah commanded that it be brought past her. It was carried through the mosque for her, and she supplicated for him. That was disapproved of for her. She said: 'How quick people are to speak! The Messenger of God ﷺ did not pray over Ibn Bayda' except in the mosque.'
