✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from the Trench, laid down his weapons and bathed, Jibril ﷺ came to him with dust on his head and said: You have laid down your weapons, but by Allah, I have not laid them down; go out to them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Where? He said: Here, and he pointed to Banu Qurayzah. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to them. Hisham said: My father informed me that they surrendered to the judgment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he referred the judgment concerning them to Saʿd. He said: I judge that the fighting men be killed, the women and children taken captive, and their property divided. Hisham said: My father said: I was informed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: You have judged among them with the judgment of Allah, Mighty and Majestic.
