حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَطِيَّةَ قَالَ

قُلْنَا لِعَائِشَةَ رَجُلَانِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ أَحَدُهُمَا يُعَجِّلُ الْمَغْرِبَ وَيُعَجِّلُ الْإِفْطَارَ وَالْآخَرُ يُؤَخِّرُ الْمَغْرِبَ وَيُؤَخِّرُ الْإِفْطَارَ فَذَكَرَهُ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  4. ʿUmārah
  5. Abū ʿAṭiyyah

✧ We said to A’ishah: “Two men among the companions of Muhammad ﷺ, one of them hastens the Maghrib prayer and hastens the breaking of the fast, and the other delays the Maghrib prayer and delays the breaking of the fast.” Then he mentioned it.
