✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him. He said, 'Awf?' I said, 'Yes.' He said, 'Enter.' I said, 'All of me or part of me?' He said, 'Rather all of you.' He said, 'Count, O Awf, six things before the Hour. The first of them is my death.' He said, 'So I wept until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ began to calm me.' He said, 'I said: One.' 'The second is the conquest of Jerusalem.' 'I said: Two.' 'The third is a death that will occur among my community, taking them like the qa'as disease of sheep.' 'He said: Three.' 'The fourth is a tribulation that will occur in my community,' and he stressed its severity. 'Say: Four.' 'The fifth is that wealth will overflow among you, so that a man will be given a hundred dinars and will be discontented with it.' 'Say: Five.' 'The sixth is a truce between you and the Banu al-Asfar. They will march against you under eighty banners.' I said, 'What is a banner?' He said, 'A standard. Under each standard there are twelve thousand. The camp of the Muslims on that day will be in a land called al-Ghutah in a city called Damascus.'
