Translation

✧ I said: “O Messenger of Allah, there are things we used to do in the pre-Islamic era; we used to go to soothsayers.” The Prophet ﷺ said: “Do not go to soothsayers.” He said: “And we used to practice augury.” He said: “That is something one of you finds in himself, so let it not hinder you.”
