✧ I brought food to the Prophet ﷺ while I was a slave, and I said: This is charity. He ordered his companions and they ate, but he did not eat. Then I brought him food and said: This is a gift that I have given you, honoring you with it, for I saw that you do not eat charity. He ordered his companions and they ate, and he ate with them.
