حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍعَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ

لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرِئٍ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ مَالَ أَخِيهِ بِغَيْرِ حَقِّهِ، وَذَلِكَ لِمَا حَرَّمَ اللهُ مَالَ الْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Abū Saʿīd a freed slave of Banī Hāshim
  2. Sulaymān b. Bilāl
  3. Suhayl b. Abū Ṣāliḥ
  4. ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Saʿīdʿan Abū Ḥumayd al-Sāʿidī
  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ It is not lawful for a man to take his brother's wealth without his right. That is because Allah has forbidden the wealth of a Muslim to another Muslim.
