✧ Hudhayfah b. al-Yaman about the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ أَوْسٍ عَنْ بِلَالٍ الْعَبْسِيِّ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ

مَا أَخْبِيَةٌ بَعْدَ أَخْبِيَةٍ كَانَتْ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يُدْفَعُ عَنْهَا مِنَ الْمَكْرُوهِ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَخْبِيَةٍ وُضِعَتْ فِي هَذِهِ الْبُقْعَةِ وَقَالَ إِنَّكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مَعْشَرَ الْعَرَبِ لَتَأْتُونَ أُمُورًا إِنَّهَا لَفِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ النِّفَاقُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ

Translation

✧ "What I conceal after concealing is what was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, which was being pushed away from her more than any other concealment. It was placed in this spot and he said, 'Today, you are the people of the Arabs, you will face matters that were certainly present during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, hypocrisy on his face.'"
