حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ مُنْذُ نَحْوِ سِتِّينَ سَنَةٍ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ
مَرَّ رَجُلٌ عَلَى حُذَيْفَةَ فَقِيلَ إِنَّ هَذَا يَرْفَعُ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى الْأُمَرَاءِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ أَوْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَتَّاتٌ

✧ A man passed by Hudhayfah, and it was said: “This man reports hadith to the rulers.” He said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say,” or he said: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘No talebearer will enter Paradise.’”
