✧ Hudhayfah b. al-Yaman about the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْأَعْمَشَ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ

ذُكِرَ الدَّجَّالُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَأَنَا لَفِتْنَةُ بَعْضِكُمْ أَخْوَفُ عِنْدِي مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَلَنْ يَنْجُوَ أَحَدٌ مِمَّا قَبْلَهَا إِلَّا نَجَا مِنْهَا وَمَا صُنِعَتْ فِتْنَةٌ مُنْذُ كَانَتِ الدُّنْيَا صَغِيرَةٌ وَلَا كَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا [تَتَّضِعُ] لِفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. And Hb b. Jarīr from my father
  2. al-Aʿmash
  3. Abū Wāʾil
  4. Ḥudhayfah

✧ The Dajjal was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so he said, "Verily, I am the greatest trial for some of you, and none will be saved from it except the one who is saved from it. And no trial, small or great, has occurred since the world was created, except that it has been made humble in front of the trial of the Dajjal."
