✧ Buraida went out at dinner time, and he encountered the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ took him by the hand and brought him into the mosque. Then they heard a man reciting, so the Prophet ﷺ said, "Do you see him reciting?" Buraida remained silent. Then they heard a man making supplication, so he said, "O Allah, I ask You by the fact that I bear witness that You are Allah, there is no god but You, the One, the Self-Sufficient Master, who neither begets nor is begotten, and there is none like unto Him." The Prophet ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, or by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, he has invoked Allah by His Greatest Name, and whenever He is asked by it, He gives and whenever He is called by it, He answers." Then, when it was close to giving birth, Buraida went out at dinner time, and he encountered the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ took him by the hand and brought him into the mosque. Then they heard the voice of a man reciting, so the Prophet ﷺ said, "Do you say it out of desire?" Buraida said, "Do you say it out of desire, O Messenger of Allah?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "No, rather, he is a believing repentant, rather, he is a believing repentant." Then Ash'ari was reciting in a corner of the mosque, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Ash'ari, or indeed, Abdullah bin Qais, has been given a flute from the flutes of Dawud." So I said, "Should I inform him, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Yes, inform him." So I informed him, and he said, "You are my truthful friend. You have informed me about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a narration."
