✧ I was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ and I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: 'My community will be driven by people with broad faces, small eyes, as if their faces were shields'—three times—'until they join them to the Arabian Peninsula. As for the first wave, whoever flees from them will be saved. As for the second, some will perish and some will be saved. As for the third, all of them who remain will be utterly destroyed.' They said: 'O Prophet of God, who are they?' He said: 'They are the Turks.' He said: 'By the One in whose hand is my soul, they will tie their horses to the pillars of the mosques of the Muslims.' He said: 'Buraydah never parted from two or three camels, travel provisions, and water skins, preparing that for flight from the affliction he had heard from the Prophet ﷺ concerning the Turkish rulers.'
