حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَعْظَمُ الْغُلُولِ عِنْدَ اللهِ ذِرَاعٌ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ تَجِدُونَ الرَّجُلَيْنِ جَارَيْنِ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَوْ فِي الدَّارِ فَيَقْتَطِعُ أَحَدُهُمَا مِنْ حَظِّ صَاحِبِهِ ذِرَاعًا إِذَا اقْتَطَعَهُ طُوِّقَهُ مِنْ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "The greatest misappropriation in the sight of God is a cubit of land. You find two men who are neighbors in land or in a house, and one of them cuts off a cubit from his companion's share. When he cuts it off, it will be made into a collar of seven earths around his neck until the Day of Resurrection."
