حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ
كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بَالْخَنْدَقِ وَهُمْ يَحْفِرُونَ وَنَحْنُ نَنْقُلُ التُّرَابَ عَلَى أَكْتَافِنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اللهُمَّ لَا عَيْشَ إِلَّا عَيْشُ الْآخِرَةِ فَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارِ
Translation

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at the Trench, and they were digging while we were carrying the dirt on our shoulders. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'O Allah, there is no life except the life of the Hereafter, so forgive the Muhājirūn and the Anṣār.'
