حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ لَقِيطٍ التُّجِيبِيِّعَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَوَالَةَ الْأَزْدِيِّ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
مَنْ نَجَا مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ فَقَدْ نَجَا قَالَهُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، قَالُوا: مَاذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: مَوْتِي، وَمِنْ قَتْلِ خَلِيفَةٍ مُصْطَبِرٍ بِالْحَقِّ يُعْطِيهِ وَالدَّجَّالِ

✧ Whoever is saved from three things is saved—he said it three times. They said: What is that, O Messenger of Allah? He said: My death, the killing of a caliph who steadfastly upholds the truth and gives it, and the Dajjal.
