✧ There is no Muslim servant who hears the call to prayer and rises to perform his ablution but that he is forgiven with the first drop that touches his palm from that water, and with the number of those drops until he finishes his ablution but that his past sins are forgiven, and he rises to his prayer, which is supererogatory. Abū Ghālib said: I said to Abū Umāmah: 'Did you hear this from the Prophet ﷺ?' He said: 'Yes, by the One who sent him with the truth as a bringer of glad tidings and a warner — not once, not twice, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven, not eight, not nine, not ten, and ten' — and he clapped his hands.
