✧ When Umm Kulthūm, the daughter of the Messenger of God ﷺ, was placed in the grave, the Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'From it We created you, and into it We shall return you, and from it We shall bring you forth another time.' He said: Then I do not know whether he said: 'In the name of God, and in the way of God, and upon the religion of the Messenger of God' or not. When her laḥd was built over her, he began throwing clods of earth to them and saying: 'Fill the gaps between the bricks.' Then he said: 'Indeed, this is nothing, but it comforts the soul of the living.'
