✧ The Prophet ﷺ prayed a prayer and performed the bowing, prostration, and standing excellently. I mentioned that to him, and he said: This is a prayer of desire and fear. I asked my Lord three things in it, and He granted me two and did not grant me one. I asked Him not to destroy my nation with a year of famine, so He granted me. I asked Him not to set an enemy from other than them over them, so He granted me. I asked Him not to make their violence among themselves, so He withheld it from me.
