حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ مُعَاذٍ قَالَ
اسْتَبَّ رَجُلَانِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَغَضِبَ أَحَدُهُمَا حَتَّى إِنَّهُ لَيُخَيَّلُ إِلَيَّ أَنَّ أَنْفَهُ لَيَتَمَزَّعُ مِنَ الْغَضَبِ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ كَلِمَةً لَوْ يَقُولُهَا هَذَا الْغَضْبَانُ لَذَهَبَ عَنْهُ الْغَضَبُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

✧ Two men insulted each other in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ, and one of them became so angry that it seemed to me his nose was splitting from anger. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Indeed I know a word that if this angry man said it, the anger would leave him: "O God, I seek refuge in You from Satan the accursed."'
