✧ Mu'adh gave a sermon in Syria and mentioned the plague, saying: 'It is a mercy from your Lord and the supplication of your Prophet, and the taking of the righteous before you. O God, bring upon the family of Mu'adh their share of this mercy.' Then he descended from that place of his and entered upon 'Abd al-Rahman b. Mu'adh. 'Abd al-Rahman said: 'The truth is from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters.' Mu'adh said: 'You will find me, if God wills, among the patient.'
