✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought Umayma bt. Zaynab, and her soul was rattling as if in a waterskin. He said: To Allah belongs what He took, and to Allah belongs what He gave, and everything has an appointed term. He (the narrator) said: His eyes became tearful. Saʿd b. ʿUbāda said to him: O Messenger of Allah, are you weeping? Did you not forbid weeping? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: It is only a mercy that Allah placed in the hearts of His servants, and Allah shows mercy to those of His servants who are merciful.
