✧ They said to him: Will you not enter upon this man and speak to him? He said: He said: Do you not see that I do not speak to him except so that you hear me? By Allah, I have spoken to him privately between me and him, without opening a matter that I would not like to be the first to open. Nor do I say of a man who is my ruler that he is the best of people, after I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and thrown into the Fire, and the intestines of his belly will spill out, and he will go round with them in the Fire as a donkey goes round a millstone. He (the Prophet) said: The people of the Fire will gather around him and say: O so-and-so, were you not commanding us to good and forbidding us from evil? He will say: Yes, I used to command good but not do it, and forbid evil but do it.
