✧ Osama bin Zaid's Love for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ

أَنَّهُ أَرْدَفَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ حَتَّى دَخَلَ الشِّعْبَ، ثُمَّ أَهَرَاقَ الْمَاءَ وَتَوَضَّأَ، ثُمَّ رَكِبَ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ.

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took him as a riding companion on the day of 'Arafa until he entered the mountain pass, then he relieved himself, performed ablution, then rode, and did not pray.
