✧ I went out for Hajj and entered the House. When I was between the two pillars, I moved forward until I clung to the wall. He said: Ibn 'Umar came and stood beside me and prayed four rak'ahs. He said: When he prayed, I said to him: 'Where did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray in the House?' He said: 'Here.'
Notes
machine translationUsāmah b. Zayd informed me that he prayed. He said: I said: "How much did he pray?" He said: "For this I find myself blaming myself, that I stayed with him for a lifetime and then did not ask him how much he prayed." Then when the following year came, he said: I went out for Hajj. He said: I came to his place of standing. He said: Then Ibn al-Zubayr came until he stood beside me, and he kept crowding me until he pushed me out of it. Then he prayed four rakʿahs in it.
