✧ Umayma bt. Zaynab was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while her soul was rattling as if in a water skin. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'To Allah belongs what He takes and to Allah belongs what He gives, and everything has a fixed term.' His eyes teared up. Sa'd b. 'Ubada said to him: 'O Messenger of Allah, are you weeping? Did you not forbid weeping?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'It is only mercy that Allah has placed in the hearts of His servants, and Allah has mercy on only the merciful among His servants.'
