✧ Every day each joint of the son of Adam owes charity. Then he said: 'Your removing harm from the road is charity, your greeting people is charity, your commanding good is charity, your forbidding evil is charity, and your intimate relations with your wife are charity.' We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, does one satisfy his desire and have charity for it?' He said: 'Yes, do you not see that if he placed that desire in what Allah has forbidden, would he have a burden of sin?' We said: 'Yes.' He said: 'So if he places it in what Allah [Mighty and Majestic] has permitted, it is charity.' He said: 'And he mentioned other things, charity after charity.' Then he said: 'And the two rakʿahs of Duha suffice for all of this.'
